Excellent, interesting, and informative :y
So it is, but I'm confused (yes not for the first time!)
Mine's a '95 but has climate & remote alarm......
96 MY then?

PM me your VIN, and I will check
Possibly, it was registered in late '95 (I think), I'll get the VIN later, cheers.
Sent your decoded details back...
Just read them, cheers  :y

The key thing to remember is the the date is the model year which is often introduced upto 6 months early at a convenient point in production (ie.. when they have burnt stock of the the old parts which are being replaced!).

Also, some cars may have been sat at a dealers for a period of time and be a 2001 (y) reg but a 2000 model year (like my facelift Cdx)
That would explain why mine's MY 1996 but registered Nov 1995 then  :)
