its leaking in the middle going into the plugs and i havent cleaned the small breather pipe il have a look at the weekend and the one going to the intake pipe i havent got, it was making a pool of oil at the bottom of the manifold so put one of those boy racer small k&n filters on, now its running down the engine lol, the other thing i havent tried is just nipping the bolts up a little bit, was just wondering if there is a metal replacement because there known for warping in the middle and breaking when coming off, its only a little bit at the mo but im one of these fussy ones that likes things spot on lol and i havent used a genuine gasket might get one and try it.

Not sure if its the same for four pots, but go easy with the sealer too.

Get and fit a genuine Vx gasket and clean breathers out mate  :y  Fitting a metal rocker cover is only addressing the effect not the cause!

Just to clear up a few things, covers don't warp for 4 pots. Thats just a bullshite excuse from mechanics for not doing everything right.

The gasket is leaking not the cover, you need to replace & fit gasket as per our guides. Using genuine parts and sealant, along with clean breathers and regular oil changes they gasket should last around 10 years  :y

OOF experience has proven time & again, that pattern gaskets fail much quicker.
