Get one that's really smart. Then you won't have to post your questions on here.  ;D
If only it was that simple STMO,  ;D  ...So much crap out there and at some point in life I've had bad experiences with all brands as have many people i'd have thought..

Before it was a toss up between these two TV's LG 32LM620T - Samsung UE32ES6300 they seem to have everything, but now i'm not so sure, They Seem too good to be true unless I'm being paranoid ::) :-\ :D

Doubt i'll be getting the Panasonic either, Doesn't look like it has a Lovefilm app, And if i wanted the 3D version from Amazon its over £500, Looks like i'm going to have to pick from these two LG 32LM620T -Samsung UE32ES6300 :-\

Information I was given yesterday said that either can connect to a sat dish anyway and in fact they prefer to do this as this gives the best signal........ :y :y

I echo MarkDTM's comments. Panasonic Viera's once properly set up look amazing. Samsung's and LG's just look artificial. I dont think a shop floor viewing helps either as they are usually set to some dynamic preset to appear vivid to the customer.

The alternatives to Vieras are higher end Sonys, but then you are looking at nearly double your budget.

Agreed. Was ready to buy a Samsung when I changed 18 months ago. Saw one that I liked in the shop but then a relative bought it and the picture was appalling, and not really improved by a tweak of the settings. A bit of digging found that they had several types of panel what went into the same model of TV, some good (and no doubt singled out as display models in the shops), and some appalling. That was Samsung struck off the list.
