So they've built a car, and got type rating for a tow bar, and PUBLISH it can tow up to 1800 kgs ... but it's going to overheat if you do any of that .....

you couldn't make it up really .... :(

Increased load, decreased air flow due to less speed = less cooling. Hence more free flowing grill needed.

...as vx have been tight wads on r+d again.

Quite the opposite when you think about it as they are trying to minimise drag and have designed in the ability to mod the grill when a pikey hook is fitted so as to increase cooling

They modified the Omega's superior predecessor during its lifetime to give a greater air flow through the egg box grille (they cut the blanking plate behind it in half  ;))

I just KNEW you'd say that. ;D

But should it need the mod at all...? Surly the total cooling capacity should be able to cope with not toeing AND toeing without messing about with the grill ?

So you propose compromising the drag factor for the corner case of users e.g. those with a pikey hook  ???

Total cooling capacity is clearly able to cope or it would over heat with the mod
