I reacon our bridge on the A60 in Loughborough must get hit about every 2-3 weeks.

That trailer he had is a strong one, most of the strike reports we get see the curtain siders and even the rigids totaly destroyed.

The most recent report I saw the driver was saying the bridge height was wrong, the report had a pic of the bridge height sign and the height marking on the front of the trailer, needless to say the trailer height was higher than the bridge clearance!

 if the road has been resurfaced that can add 2-3inches, thus a 14-6 trailer becomes to high=bang. and network rail will say not our fault and concil will say the same,but its down to highways to inform and get signs changed, rember its not allways the drivers fault.
