Bedtime on on a worknight, set the alarm, check it, check it, check it, check it again. Decide all's ok, start to doze off...check it again!
  Doesn't help that i don't work regular hours. I may start @ 4am or 9am so no regular sleep pattern.

until recently i was exacty the same.starting work v. early or sometimes late,i was the same with alarm,checking/re-checking.i think when your body clock gets permanently out of sorts you dont feel quite awake half the time and have to keep checking on yourself.

Does anyone have habits which are getting obsessive.

Sockets must be turned off if no plug in them

Packet tablets must be pushed in a symetrical pattern

All biscuits must be ate in pairs

Anyone else have anything similar?

really i have to align stuff on desk all the time symetry & equal spacing is quite crucial

This is usually down to a thing called (sorry!) age!    I have seen it with my parents, and I now see it in myself; constantly having a routine (that's not so important when young) of checking, double checking, and having everything 'just so',  ship shape and Bristol fashion!

Must have a freshener in the toilet, i.e. a toilet duck.

Drivers floor area in car must be clean, I hate stones or grit under my feet.

Start a 4 pack of Grolsch - must finish it.

I don't like to see crooked pictures hanging on the wall, but i wouldn't say i have to get up & straighten them, if it's my home then i do, but someone elses house, no.
Though i don't like untidyness, but having said that, i tidied up my garage & workshop last year & there's been a few times since that i couldn't find what i was looking for

years ago ,a mate of mine (a vicars son)couldnt bear to see anything placed on top of a bible. it didnt matter where he was,if a bible had something on top he would take it off,do the sign off the cross over the bible while reciting a quiet prayer in latin. used to get him in some strange looks .

I have a Catholic dear-friend whom will similarly perform the sign of the cross and silently mouth a prayer of protection in the name of Jesus when she gets into a car.
Actually, I find it rather heartwarming, but it does attract some strange glances from strangers.  

She often jokes that it`s not a reflection on the standard of my driving.  8-)

You`re correct, I will have to get a more climatically correct picture taken for the (hopefully) nicer weather soon to come....but, TBH it`s still rather cool here in the mountains.
