Smokeless Fuel

Is this a good deal  :-\ Smokeless Fuel

Only thinking of using it on an open fire in the evenings so want it to last a fair bit ... and its local to me so i could pick up and save delivery costs .

Im sure local delivery by a traditional coalman would be cheaper if your spending that much. just need a cheap bunker to dump it in.

No idea on the price of coal these days, our coal bunker is used as a compost bin...... :D :D

I thought it mite be kev , but individual bags at £12 each  :( not seen a coal van around these parts since i was a nipper  ;D but guess they are still around  :-\

charcoal is good for heat but ...
 
in windy days it can be dangerous.. especially if the chimney dont work as expected.. :-\

I have seen them with the bottles on the lorries around here so they must deliver coal as well , ozzycat just told me B&Q sell it too  :y

As a guide, we pay around 180-190 a ton for quality steam coal.
