Just woke up,looked the window,and some fugger has just dumped another 6 inches of it outside.It's still falling quite in bucket loads.

Snow here about 4 inches on the ground-got halfway to work-about 6 miles and had the call that it was closed. So back home by 6.45am.

Torrential rain, thunder, lightning then hail, sleet & finally snow overnight here in Cornwall.  :o

It didn't shift the old snow and everything is now covered in 1/2" of ice. A38 closed due to pirouetting cars bumping into each other.

I stepped out of the front door intending to attempt the journey to work but decided it wasn't safe to walk to the car so back inside now with a coffee :y

We had a little over an inch overnight but started to turn to sleet/rain this morning. All main roads are clear, although there are some icy patches, but our road is bad now ::) We might manage a bit of a thaw before it dumps another load later this week ::)

A38 still closed apparently. Hardly worth bothering going to work now.......

I try not to harbour petty prejudices but BMW drivers do a sterling job of reinforcing those prejudices on a daily basis...  ::)

On a serious note: the road is still closed 7 hours after the first crash (presumably for forensics) so there may be a fatality involved  :(

-7C at 7am in Towcester this morning.

TBE is still buried under a shed load of white stuff.
