i need to remove ignition barrel on the escort,can some1 please tell me how to remove it,had a quick look this evening,as getting it ready to swap over ecu etc,thanks :y

How old, older ones where Key in and theres a small pin on the side of the barrel, cant remember if you need to push it in or pull out, think its the first.

I think you need to first remove the shroud then put the key in turn to first position and then underneath there should be a pin, push this in with the aid of a pin punch and pull the barrel out with the key at the same time, thats if my memory is right.

As above but isn't there a grub screw as well ???'long time since I've pulled one of these

it lives again,but now heater blower doesnt work on any speed,another problem to sort out  >:(
