Holden have been offering lpg on cirtain models for a while in Oz.

Maybe Vx have been watching closely.

I do wonder if prices of lpg will go up, if the govt see another Tax oppertunity.

Well Asda in Wycombe has gone up 2p this week :(

On the upside, that Shell (formerly Total) garage in Towcester are now selling LPG again for the first time since the summer.

So will the design be altered to allow for the LPG kit, or will it still be a retro fit/conversion done in the Vx factory?  :-\

That's a tricky one... They are committed to "Greener" fuel, which LPG is, so have, thus far, agreed to not reduce the difference in duty (petrol/LPG) by more than 1p per year until 2016 (I think :-\) ;)

That said, it wouldn't surprise me ::)

Don't forget though, LPG price is related to Domestic Gas price, not petrol/crude oil ;) It always goes up during the winter months when demand is high but (normally) comes down again during the summer. Tends to have about a 6 week delay on domestic prices which have recently been hiked  ::)

Doughnut tank in the spare wheel well, harness is different and the gas fill is incorporated into the fuel filler flap

I know is the US GM have V6 and V8 factory fitted LPG systems. I have often wondered what the work would be to put their dual fuel 265hp 3.6 V6 and gearbox into a Miggy, if it would fit?

Well documented, canned we believe due cooling issues at Autobahn speeds. Real issues with exhaust manifold exits on the (UK) passenger side.

It could have been solved, sure there would have been a solution. But maybe maybe just too expensive  :(

Yep, I'm not holding my breath on the governments pledge not to increase duty massively but it would go completely against all the "green" pledges ::)
