Interesting, got two here that could do with swapping out.

If MotherT gets a new Estate, I want her NCDC and CID  :D

Lasers tired as usual, so want to refurb.

Wonder what little fatty thinks of them  :-\

Ive seen this company recommended before.slightly more expensive though.

I need one for a 2013 unit I have,but not sure its worth it as its only a GID type inut.On the other hand,the rest of it works fine,so it seems a shame to let it go to waste. :-\

Think there is a real need to have them refurbished, as lots of them are getting tired.

Seem to remember a member posting up a supplier in Kent that ended with good results a short while back.

Are they straight swaps or do they need calibrating ? I have a tired laser in my 2013 too.... Only works when the car/radio warms up

i did mine with a 7 quid one from a german ebay trader, still working 18 months on, and pain was it wasnt the laser but the main drive so kept the origianal as a spare

I'll have to dig out the notes and photo's I took.  :y

It's fiddly removing the sled that the laser travels on and you have to be careful as it's quite a fragile setup.
