Sometimes I just want to run an extension cable to our cabinet with a note to the engineers 'Power issue solved, now connect me MoFos!'  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Ok. Another one. Why do you need 250v to the cab?
FTTC is a technology where the DSLAM is not in the serving exchange, but in the local street cabinet. The DSLAM requires power.
So the multiplexer is in the cab? Hmmmmmm.... :-\
Are they hard to break into? ;D
Yup and No, in that order.

I have just been upgraded to BT Affinity and the speed of my PC, and BT Vision when on I-Players, is amazing.

I now click and the link is there.  I enter a post and it goes straight on.  No delay, no buffering, and with free anytime calls I have saved on my overall BT bill! :y :y :y :y :y :y

Has anyone else on here got such a result by going BT Affinity? ???

We got it a few months ago, the old BT Internet was terrible, we live in a small village and I could not previously even get BT Vision, not that I have it not, but it shows how poor ours was, noticed a huge difference and apparently the X-box thingy is much much better..... :y :y
