The "Bogger" as DLK calls it for some reason still stands on my drive, but the only time it has turned a wheel in about 18 months was a trip to the MOT station last September.

Come spring time it will be tidied up and moved on.Probably.

Do it Opti. You are still young (at heart) and you'll regret it later if you don't. I'm slightly older than you but I still haven't given up on a last fling with something fast and loose.

Your arse judging by your other thread :-X ;D

It's been dry stored in a garage for the last three years, but I'm told it's started ( but not ridden/piloted) once a week.

 :o
The Thunderace is an excellent bike, but if that's what this one's been subjected to for the last three years, then leave it there !!

Actually, yes, Indeed, almost the worst thing you can do to a stored bike.

Mine is ONLY half as old as me, but just as stiff, I think it has gone and seized???

Under-steer is when the front of the car hits the wall, and over-steer is when the rear of the car hits the wall.
Power is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how much of the wall you take with you.

Sell it, worth a tidy sum I would think?

Although it would be a shame to let it go obviously. :)

My GS, love it, do 400+ miles in a day easy on it. But not sure how much longer I can keep justifying something I barely use  :'(

They seem to be Tunnie, until you want to sell them?? Just paid Steve Linsdell at Flitwick Yamaha £1,000 to do some work on her, switched on last week, power valves didn't move ?? Then found I could stand on the kickstart... Sounds expensive to me..  :'( :'(

out plugs & pour a little diesel & oil down the bore & leave it a few days/week. Put the bike in top & GENTLY rock the bike back or forth. That's how I freed off my GT250 about 40 yrs ago (Christ ..... was it really that long ago?  ??? ???) It filled the street with black exhaust when it eventually started!  ;D ;D ;D
