Backing Up DVD's

Used to use DVD Xcopy express in the old days to backup a Movie dvd to a dvdr.....

But its very old now, not needed to make backups for a long time so out the game so to speak on the best tools for the job.

But the kids are getting to the age where we can take films to keep em quiet in the car, and want to protect my originals.

What is anyone else using for the job these days?

DVD Shrink - however home burnts you can extract the mpeg stream in some editing packages - usefull when you have deleted the AVI and need to fix an error

DVD shrink is too old and wont back up modern 9 gig dual layer discs (not the ones with the latest incryption codes)
DVD FAB (platinum) will back up any DVD (except HD and Bluray) Very expensive kit to do that.
DVD Fab will back up your dvd, to disc, PSP, Mobile phone PDA,PC in fact just about anything portable

While obviously an excellent product, DVDFab is 50 euros (reduced) and has many features that are not needed by JimBob.  DVD Shrink is free and backs up quite well, the 9GB part is being worked on as we speak and very few home DVDs are the 9GB format.
