auto to manual conversion necessary Tech 2 MID codes..

yep.. after some trial finally found the correct codes..
 
X25XE manual MID code   : 17
X30XE manual MID code   : 19
 
if you dont choose these values for MID (from Tech 2) , it will show erroneous consumption values and will ask for autobox ecu..

Sadly, these codes are not always valid cem, other factors will influence them.

I could list pre 98 MID codes, as there are only a few, but post 98 is more complex...

...maybe I could list them when I get time, but in the meantime, if anyone needs code indexes, I'll look them up :)

We hve the power to turn that off. Well, H21, MDTM, Old Man Wood and I do ;D

Or you can ground a wire, ideally through a pull-down resistor.

Is it to get rid of the automatic transmission message on startup?
I've done a auto to manual conversion and i'm just curious to what this is

Ah, not a real MV6 then, ex-plod?

OK, so its an old style MID, so for 3.0l with manual transmission, you need config given by code index 019 :)
