Excellent, saved yourself a few grand on the offer price there.

Its too pricey IHMO. Although I'd gain a double garage and double width drive (and a useless downstairs small study), is that worth an extra £100k over what I have. Not IMHO.

For a few smarties you could buy a few more clapped out old Vauxhall's to litter the place up a bit and really depress property values!!!  Put cheeky offer on place down the road which they'll accept in desperation, rent yours out for a bit,  move, tidy up, property prices recover in Shadowland and all is well!!

I did last night, doesn't seem to cure Man Flu though
