crank sensor

Hi, can someone please tell me where the crank sensor is located on a 2002 2.2 omega,
i've looked everywhere and just cant see it

To replace:

Remove the heatshield from over the exhaust for easier access. Run your hand down the oil dipstick tube until you meet it's
entry point into the crankcase. About 50mm from the dipstick tube towards the front of the engine, you`ll be able to feel the crank sensor.
Retaining torx bolt is same size as the ones holding the heatshield.
If you find it awkward to access the bolt you can slip the aux belt off & unbolt PAS pump (& possibly AC cond) and move it away for more clearance.
