My first sunny weekend away this season,friday was a nice surprise a RAF VC10 doing touch and go's at Cardiff airport,don't see many of those round our way.
Maybe Seth can help me with this query,is it normal for a inter city 125 to travel past Rhoose,I've stayed there many times and never seen one before.
All in all a pretty nice weekend.

They have forecast this weekend being hot and sunny.  Good, it will give me chance to catch up in the garden, which is looking rather neglected.

ill ge saying bye bye to my daughter and grand daughter who have been here foe 6 weeks while dave has been in afgan sob sob but good news is we are going up to them  aweek on sat for a week so a nice long drive

  i spent the weekend at the Rockingham castle steam and tractor rally. There is a car show as well as a massive amount of other stuff going on. we were supposed to have a fly past by the Lancaster on the sunday afternoon but it was laid up, porly. so, they sent a DC3 dakota over. Bloke hanging out of the back waving at every one was a nice touch

Blimey!!! Girl down the road has been out sunning herself in a little crop top and hotpants that look like they've shrunk in the wash!!!!

When the SWML's closed 'twixt Cardiff and Bridgend, the VoG's used as a diversionary route.
HSTs (the FGW IC125s that you saw) are 'pathed-in' between the scheduled Arriva services, Aberthaw-bound MGRs and Milford Haven-bound oil tanks. Often happens late evenings and weekends for essential engineering works.
