would never buy a new car-might as well burn your money-depreciation is silly-you lose thousands as soon as you drive off forecourt >:( mate of mine 4 years ago bought a 1951 studebaker champion convertible-cost 14k-now worth 19/20k so increased value ;) so protect the environment-get a classic-values only go up--look at mk1 escorts :D 8k+

I think the new Vanquish is a stunner, and I also like the Mercedes CLA  :y.

Whilst I agree in principle think of the money a lot of people lost on classic cars in the late 80's into early 90's there really was a boom and bust cycle which, in part, worries me about classic's at the moment, particularly the lowly Mini, I think they are over priced, not a time to buy though, I would like one....... ;) ;)

Forgot to say, I remember when the Ford Sierra was described as an ugly car........... :y

It was, certainly the early ones imo, I was pleased that I got the new Cavalier as a company car, and not the Sierra, to replace my MK5 Cortina............ :D :D

Which mini's you got Jay?  Still got a few odds & sods for original minis, in fact recenly sold a 1071S engine and box that was languishing in my garage (forgot I still had it until I was having a quick search!)
