Misfire

Ok so car eventually passed MOT tester says car running very clean emissions it sailed through drove out of the mot station and now im only firing on 4 cylinders should be 6 keeps misfiring plugs have done a maximum 20k checked all and cant seem to see anything obvious this is was an intermittent fault now constant

Do the paper clip test(howto in maintenance section) and see what codes flag up,my money is on coil pack failure :-\

Although the paperclip test wont throw up a fault for a duff coil pack. ;)
It will rule all sorts of other things in or out though. :y

Paperclip it, if no fault codes, suspect HT side, as suggested above.

are you sure?  most miggy's I encounter-its lead breakdown not coil pack-usually because they been fitted with cheap leads-which dont last

2 cyls lost = coil pack ;)  Same as on my old Elite
