Hi all....I have been in touch with Jane.

Paul is doing slightly better. The doctors are still concentrating on his lungs. His infection is still bad and his temp is up and down like a yoyo. The oxygen on the vent is now down to 40% and the pressure which is the important one, is down from 21 to 14. The doctor has said that the average pressure should be around 5. The only target they are setting for him at the moment is to get him on a portable vent so they can at least scan him again. They are also putting in a traccy,  They still say things can go either way but these minute improvments help to get through another day. Until they can scan him, they have no idea of the extent of his brain damage.
Obviously, Jane is going through hell at the moment, with lots of tears, etc, but as I learn anything I will keep you posted.
