Hi guys,
As per my recent thread regarding my Ford Fusion I lubed up the pads nicely, cleaned off the crap and that didn't solve my brake grind on initial movement with brakes half applied.
SO.
I went out and did some diagnosis work today. mum moved the car while I listened and it seemed to me that it was defo coming from the front. checked all suspension components. all tight as a nuns crutch. good! but i'm still thinking i need to replace the pads and discs.
ANYWAY, got to the rear and press down on the rear of the car...... grinding/clunking noise similar to the aforementioned noise

anyway had the rear up in the air and like the front I checked all rear suspension components. no play whatsoever. good!
i took the car off the stands and pushed it up and down again... clunking, grinding etc. really quite bad. took the handbrake off and sound goes away

i'm thinking i need to get the drum off and see whats what.
do y'all concur?
