air con high press valve

right folks,im in need of the pipe with the high pressure fill valve for my aircon,shes based on a 2.5 v6 elite  99 t reg ,enyone got a good one as mines not holding gas.? or is this best to get new. :y

the valve itself unscrews...and is about £3,  not long had one from Vauxhall

Yep,had one fitted about a year ago by a local a/c firm...bent me over for £96....you live and you learn ::)

Ouch!  I paid for a regas, when it was discovered...

went back the next day where they regassed again attempting to fit he wrong part

went back a week ot 2 later (with correct part supplied by me) and they regassed and fitted it for nowt!

excellent service!

interesting i was told valve at rear of engine bay was replaceable but one at front was part of pipe but it looks like it comes off,will have a go at removeing it.

It does come off, it is nut shaped at the bottom but an odd size if I recall :-\

H.p.  valve is 13277003 £3.77 +vat on tc. :y
As just got one,am a bit scared to undo the old one as it seems FT and dont want to snap pipe

I have 2 of those pipes complete with valves and surplus to requirements.  In fact, I have 2 whole AC systems going to land-fill shortly (once I weigh the box to see how much weight I've saved by not re-fitting it)

From memory there are 3 different ones. One pre 99 one 99 and one post 99. I had this problem on mums old Omega and the 99 was a special for afew months only or so the dealer told me. still cheap though.

got to my nearest vauxhall dealership in epsom allams.parts came over with valve insert ,wrong had a look under bonnet showed my print off of of parts and mines bloody different and he wasnt able to check what was in stock computers all down,so no further and cant regas system brillient ffs. >:(

ok latest from vauxhall dealer er dont know sir can you get it off car,ffs,i just want to know if it defo unscrews as its about a 17 mm on base but it dont feel like it wants to come undone ???????

Yes ..... it does. Support the boss that's welded to the pipe with your 17mm spanner (so it doesn't shear  ;)) & unscrew the valve with a 15mm socket.
