Good Luck, been there done that, only in my case they took a whole lung out, lived to tell the tale. I have now seen Miss Vamps become a teenager and swmbo get old........ :D :y :y
You're the second person to tell me that, and that makes me feel much better because the net is just full of doom and gloom regarding "the Big One" ........ cheers Vamps  :y

To everybody else, many thanks.

FFS :o

I hope it goes well tomorrow, and wish you a quick recovery.  I know nothing of these things, but given your original post, and someone else's comment, it sounds like you are in the right place.

Good luck

sorry to hear this..  :( :(

1.if your body state permits I will recommend lots of excercise to increase oxygen intake

2.overdose C vitamin intake..  like 3-4 grs daily ..

and also please check intravenous c vitamin doses and cases from the net.. but thats entirely different..so be careful..

3.İncreasing potassium intake will also help to maintain your energy level

4. Avoid direct sugar intake..  in case necessary use honey (+bee milk)  and fruits as source..

and if possible add turmeric (as dust) in small portions to your food..

wish you all the best :y :y :y

Surgery commenced at 13:30hrs on Monday, I think I woke at around 7pm but can't be sure.
Next morning I did the obligatory 3 laps of the ward to shut the doctor up, and 30 hours later I was out of the door.

The surgery was 100% successful, and the lump that was removed is now on a scientists desk somewhere being examined to determine the cancer type.

There are a couple of pics below for the more morbid among us, although you will have to copy and paste those links (done in order to avoid accidental clicking and potentially offending).

Kinell. Another couple of inches and he'd have cut you in half.
Glad to hear you're out, lets hope that's the end of it.

A Right Thoracotomy. Do you have two drain holes at the front  just above the hip? mine look like two healed bullet wounds now, I tell the youngest Granddaughter I got them fighting the Zulus! ;D
Its good to hear you're up and about and the Op went well. Best Wishes for the Future :y

sorry to hear this..  :( :(

1.if your body state permits I will recommend lots of excercise to increase oxygen intake

He's about to go under the knife :o

2.overdose C vitamin intake..  like 3-4 grs daily ..

Can be dangerous, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that regular high doses of Citric Acid (Vit C) at best do nothing, at worse can cause kidney damage

and also please check intravenous c vitamin doses and cases from the net.. but thats entirely different..so be careful..

Again not recommended as this could interfere with any post op therapies including chemo

3.İncreasing potassium intake will also help to maintain your energy level

Messing around with potassium levels can be fatal (low = heart attack, to high = neurological and nerve disorders)

4. Avoid direct sugar intake..  in case necessary use honey (+bee milk)  and fruits as source..

Post major surgery high protein intake is more beneficial than sugars (of which those not used will just end up as fat, and not good fat either)

But what do I know ::)
