...., haven't got the dosh at the moment to get it sorted  :-[

A new fob is around the £30/£35 mark & probably about the same again if you need Vauxhall to programme it for you but you might be able to get it programmed at a meet if there's still a Tech II available. You'll need your 'Car Pass' though with the code who ever does it for you.

Cheers Andy, lot less than i was fearing, i think i will have to get it done sooner rather than later, as missus keeps complaining as she drives it more than me.  :y

If you're opening the car with the key, what about the alarm?  :-\

Did the sensible thing and removed the alarm horn when i removed powersounder, more trouble than it's worth when in my situation  ::) After all not exactly high on the little scrotes list of cars to nick, just don't tell my insurance company  ;) ;) Vauxhall wanted £66 to program (as it might not take first time sir.... ::)) local independent locksmith £20, just need to get a circuit board

I think you got away with it, LFF64, as the fob had probably never been opened, so the seal was good

I think it was a good dose of good luck as well, it was still working when we dropped the car off .
