rear wheel bearing
« on: 27 October 2013, 11:37:47 »

can anyone advise me as to which one to get. I have the choice of at least two, 1st is from 'all german parts' which is stated to be oem and the second is from euro car parts and is skf, which i've known to be reasonable quality for some years now. if however one of the leaned members on here have experience of either or others I should welcome the input. cj.

They're the same diameter, but estate ones are 4-6 mm longer ottomh :-\

Incidentally estate ones are the same p/n as Monaro rears :y

Point being Monkfish might stock them :y

Still same bearing.
I think cnj is concerned about quality as well as the correct part number.

I don't think you can go wrong with SKF.

Allgermen are usually good but it worries me when a supplier declares 'OE' rather than giving you the actual name because it gives then wriggle room to send you the first part they can lay their hands on :-\

Only ever used genuine. As the price differences between tc and elswere inc p+p is about £10.
