Thanks to The Boy once again!
« on: 01 June 2008, 20:46:36 »

Busy day,

Got my dads 2.2 on the ramps, ready for a new exhaust. Was not quite as high as i would have liked.

Just as i was scratching my head on how to do this, The Boy turns up  :D

We soon cracked on and got the old zorst off, it was the orginal and had lasted  years at 100k, so we were pleased with that.

Also fitted new springs to the back of my 2.2, glad he was around as the shock bolts where b@astards to get out.... glad he has lazy man tools.... air ratchet!  :D ;D

Thanks again mate for helping a numpty like me!  :y

We really must do a curry soon  :y

I felt partly responsible for the earlier demise of Father Tunnie's exhaust - last week when we did the springs, I think I sneezed, and the exhaust fell apart ;D

Tunnie, I'm glad you got sorted  :y

Sorry I couldn't get over today. I'm sure we'll catch up with each other sometime; we are only round the corner (Miggy context) from each other.

Sure there will be other times, both mine and my dads need new shocks all around so no doubt there will be fun and games there.

Humm maybe i should just keep the estate forever, when ever i need help just pop the bonnet on the estate!  ;D

When you back in the UK G? I am off to Tenerife in 2 weeks, i'll shout hello as we fly over!  :y
