She was taken to custody, seen by medical staff then some hour & half later blew 132 on the evidential machine. Then bedded down on constant obs. In the am (well just after mid-day) she was re-tested & when deemed 'fit' charged.
So I was reasonably close at the 140 mark then

The highest I have ever heard/seen of is 155 on the Lion Intoximeter which was done by Hants police (Police, Camera, Action programme).
There was no way you would have believed that figure based on his actions/behaviour at the time, although the subject in that particular matter was a proper self confessed alcoholic so I'll take a guess that 155 was not a big deal to him personally.
If your roadside machine indicated a 198, I would (personally) question the integrity of the machine as that kind of reading would have all but the most hardened drinker in hospital (IMHO of course).
