V6 Omega Cannot start

Hallo All,

Bought a 3.0 Engine V6 and using it on my 2.5 V6. I have made the switch but engine does not start.
Can anyone be of help please.
Darth need your assistance please.

What car did the engine come from? Probably an immobiliser issue... :-\

Does the EML flash constantly and rapidly whilst you try and start it ?

Yes the Engine i bought was a 3.0 and mine was a 2.5 I am sure you are correct it has to do with the immobiliser.

What can you advice? I am in serach of Darth as i got the 3.0 from him

you need the other "bits" to go with the engine, and change them to yours ... IIRC  its the immobilisor ring around the ignition key, the chip in the ignition key, and the ECU ...   someone who knows better will correct me I'm sure .. :)

If you're using your original key, then the 2.5 ECU should work :-\
