To try and stop smoking. Its costing me around £200 a month and thats just madness. And of course the health issue side of things as well.
Gave up for 3 years about 10 years ago. Done it cold turkey the last time but not so sure I can this time so considering what help is best?
Patches? Gum? Signing up to nhs ?

I used Zyban nearly 11 years ago though I believe they prescribe Champix these days. It worked for me, though you still need a large amount of won't power.  ;) ;)

Didn't I read somewhere that this causes some severe side affects in some people?

Something to do with blood pressure I think, hence the switch to Champix  :-\

I'm gonna relax a bit more, or try to organise my time better. I seem to always be running around. Most days I'm knackered by 11 o'clock.

Book an appointment with your GP's nurse....

They will put on a prescription..... 2 weeks worth of Nicorette patches (high strength) plus nicorette mouth spray or inhaler, but i reckon the spray is better (better hit of nicotine)

Even if you pay for prescriptions.....that a huge saving than buying it privately

2 weeks later, same again but step 2 (lower dose of patches)

2 weeks later, same again but step 3 (again lower dose of patches)

But you need the willpower and good reason to stop

Good luck  :y
