WIM OPEN DAY

Hi boys and girls i thought i would post up some pictures of the WIM open day. A big thank you to Tony Bones of WIM for a fantastic day and i even won a prize on the raffle. Abig turn out of omega's ensured that the omegas out numbered the is200 gang by 4 cars, well done all.I managed to put some faces to names but sorry guys the memory is poor so please forgive me for not mentoning you all. The boy jamie was as busy as ever with the tech2 and special thanks to mick dundee you let me have the door reinforcement plates for my door foc. TOP MAN. :y

I have got to say that the delorean was a compleat pile of crap, no wonder it bombed big time, the build quality makes British leyland look like Rolls Royce. :o

Was a good turnout from OOF today at the WIM meet, good to put some faces to names, was a good afternoon aswell, nice spread an all put on by WIM :y

As far as I know the DeLorean is a bit of a kit car.  Renault 25 engine and box and and a lot of Ford running gear (Cotina if memory serves correctly)

The WIM open day sounds like a good day though.

Hopefully get chance to pop down later in the year.   :y :y

I've seen a better quality of finish on many kit cars. Not sure if I include my own in that. :-[

Wish I'd taken it along now. Would have got soaked on the way but it was quite nice for the drive back.

I saw one in the Coventry transport museum and thought the exact same thing.

sorry i could not make it today,i was working the night shift last night and spent the rest of today at walsall manor hospital waiting for my missus neice to wake up after having to have an emergency op on her legs today after falling over in the playground last week at school.....i have had a total of 2 hrs kip.......but i`m grateful that shona`s gonna make a full recovery....it was good to see all the mshiney miggys in the pics..pity it wasn`t a sunny day...i would of loved to have seen the mustangs though my favourite all time car.... 8-)

i did n`t understand how a little fall could result in such a serious op 1 week later but apparantly and i`m no doctor her hip joints got misaligned???? thus resulting in her not being able to walk properly so they had to dislocate her legs put pins into her legs and then realign them???? ah well shes got 6 weeks off school now and the poor girls crying her heart out as she don`t want to miss school!!!! if it had of been me when i was a kid i`d be jumping through hoops!!!! ;D ;D...i`ll pass on your well wishes to her 2mora when i see her... :y

The Mustangs were very nice. Even better when they fired them up and burnt some rubber for us!
