Perhaps if a good few more people did it, reality may sink in, but I doubt it.

I doubt it as well. What will happen is that Sky will put loss of customers down to competition from BT Sport and so throw even more cash at it. That's how they think.

Loss of customers? What loss in customers? ::)

Google our Q2 results ;)
Q2? Last year?

No, this year.

We haven't had Q2 this year yet. Calendar year, Q2 would be April to June, financial year, Q2 would be July to September.

Wayne Rooney affecting the balance of payments, that's nearly as funny as moving to the Ukraine. ;D ;D;D ;D ;D

Sorry I couldn't resist that one, and what is happening is far from funny. :(

The overseas rights for 2013-16 have been sold for more than £2bn. Over £666m per season or £33m per club. Not peanuts, unless you are Lord Opti.

http://www.sportingintelligence.com/2013/05/21/where-the-money-went-premier-league-prize-and-tv-payments-for-2012-13-210501/

The quality of the football attracts oversea TV revenue, which is why the Premiership and La Liga are the higher overseas revenue earners. Nobody overseas is much interested in the top Ukraine football league, which only has three clubs of note.  :P
