Comfort seems to be a common complaint especially on a long run  :-\ You dont get that with the Mv seats on any run .

As someone who has driven a base model (Exclusiv) 130bhp Insignia diesel to the south of France and back again, I can say that, for me, it was a pleasant surprise how comfortable it was, remembering I had a buggered back following a smash a few months earlier.

The only discomforts I suffered were an ear infection, and my arse being ripped to shreds by those lying retards are Le Shuttle. Neither of which were the fault of the car.

Obviously, everyone is different though.

My issue might be a combination of being a similar rotundness, a foot taller, and having to pander to the inconvenience of carrying passengers ;D

Not gelling with the car, it adds to the list of reasons to dispose of it, although it's not the cars fault that I'm partial to the occasional takeway/McDonalds/chocolate peanut butter/tube of Pringles/tub of ice cream ::)

Rear headroom is a big issue, and the boot is smaller than it looks (going by my attempts to cram all Mrs TB's shite in it 2 years ago)

It is the cars fault that your passengers can't sit straight in the back though. Head room is hopeless in the back.

Well when you put it like that...

The daft thing is, it's almost exactly the same length and height as the VXR8, the only difference being that the VXR8 is about 4" wider, and a better shape :-\

.. and has a proper engine, burning the correct fuel, isn't "shopping wheel drive", etc. ::)

Tell me about it :-[

My remedy should at least be rear wheel drive, but might be wrong fuel/gearbox :-X

Nice interior IMO. But the roof slopes back behind the drivers head. The vxr8 doesn't. But then the vxr8 is not really available as an Estate. :(

In an ideal world, the car I bought is not the one I would have ordered. However, the fifteen or so grand price difference seemed to justify the compromise, especially having never had a real issue with a Vectra C saloon...
