I suspect my A/C needs re-gasing. :-[

Anybody know any decent places on the Wirral or Chester area ?

I am off to Nigel Lang's in few weeks for full Geometry setup and 4 new boots, so anywhere decent in Bolton area too I guess whilst I am there !

Thanks in advance.
Andy.

Any decent A/C place should be able to sort it. If you think your wishbones may need replacing I suggest you source/fit some Lemforders/other reputable variety before visiting Langs as they charged me a lot for Chinese crap ones! Did a good job on the alignment but it didn't last due to the crap bones wearing out very quickly  >:(

I know Kwik-Fit don't find favour here, but I have to say that when I asked them to check/regas mine, it only lasted a week or so, and they gave me two further refills until they found the leak, and said if and when I got it mended (I haven't, yet) they would allow me one further free refill. Got to give them credit......

I have used Chester MOT centre on crane bank st (sealand rd) before, and found them to do a good job and be very fair.

They did Big blue 3 times last year...
I paid for the 1st regas where the found a leaky valve.
Vauxhall sent the wrong one - only found when system was empty.  regassed again
I bought the right one, garage regassed again, and fitted free of charge.

I always use em for my MOT's too, good lad's in there.

I've used kwikfit a couple of times but purely because if it doesn't drop the temp by a certain amount there's no charge so if you don't know if your air con system is working, it's the cheapest way to find out :y
