Manure's team was on its last legs 2 or 3 years ago.
The squad is full of whining overpaid ego's who thought because they played for manure, they was something special.
Very few of these players were fit to wear the shirt imo compared to the class of 92 who came through the ranks as kids and knew what it meant to wear the shirt.
25 years or more ago, fergie came down from Aberdeen, totally ripped the setup apart and rebuilt it from the bottom upwards.
It took a while but success came but as in all things good, it comes to a end if you don't keep on top of it.
It was just too easy to spend a shed full of money, buy a so called world superstar who would do the business for a season or two then opps off
Fergie was getting old, losing his edge and should have sat back a little and brought his successor in who knew how the club worked.
Imo, Giggs, Scholes and even Beckham should have been a bigger part of the setup years ago to keep the continuity going.
So fergie finally decided to go and leave manure in the shit

He knew he had made mistakes and things would need to be rebuilt up again like what he had to do over 25 years ago so he picked moyes because he knew he would get the job done eventually if left alone for a few years.
Maybe moyes should have held onto more of the backroom staff for a while but you live and die by your decisions

Right, i'll throw a name in the ring for the job ................ Warren Joyce with Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt as assistants.
If you don't know who Warren Joyce is, do some research on him.
He is manure through and through and was the man behind the development of everything that used to be good about the club.
Even when he was thrown in at the deep end during 1998 at my club (Google the great escape hull city), his heart was always at Old Trafford.
Twice a week, he was down at manures youth academy teaching the young gigs and chums how to play football and what it means to be a manure player.
On his days off, he was in the three tuns pub around the corner from me supping ale and watching his team.
Or if you want a quick fix to keep the plastic supporters and shareholders happy, bring in another big name, spend stupid amounts of money on more ego's to replace the fading ego's that wear the shirt now

I'll end on this, moyes would have got the job done.
That's why he was given a 6 year contract but sadly, the plastics, the shareholders and the media got there way
