Hey guys,

I need a new exhaust system, actually my omega needs it... so badly...
The thing is I can't get it in Portugal, sadly €!
I had a small chat with Andy two years ago before "he" drop support the car club, so I was told!
Anyways, I really need a new exhaust system but I'm not prepared to drop 700€, yes you read it correctly.
I would like to have your opinion on the matter.

Should I go original parts?
Is currently someone supporting us?

I'm not sure, but I think that some members have bought exhausts from a Poland based ebay supplier at good prices.  I guess if they will ship to Britain, they'll ship to Portugal. 

Before you beetle off to ebay to spend your hard earned euros however, I'd wait for one of the more learned members to weigh in with an opinion!

Ok, thank you for the intel.
I've considered than in time but I'm afraid about the quality sound and performance of the exhaust system!

If your going to have to spend money and import, get a Stainless Steel one made up, you can get it made to your  spec / performance.

Ive used Long Life in the past and would recommend them.  http://www.longlife.co.uk/

I can certainly recommend the Polish ones, good quality, quiet, fast shipping, come with all the fittings and importantly less than £100.

I got mine from premium-car on Ebay.

I belive Jimbob has a system for sale in the forsale ads but it needs a bit of fettling to make it fit as it is a bit damaged but nothing that cant be sorted.

Used it's out of question...
Stainless, it pleases me. BUT, is quite expensive, it runs very HOT and will not be approved to run in Portugal, as far as i know!
So two options remain, the cheap and the original.

With the original, I get what i paid for right?
Cheap might be a deception... what you guys have to say about it?

The ebay link it says that is compatible with Vauxhall, but it's not with Opel?!?
I guess it's the same right, cause mine it's an Opel.

Jimbobs is new...... and no difference between opel and vauxhall, opel is the european brand for gm cars, vauxhall only for uk market.

STAINLESS running hot? only as hot as the engine gasses will allow.

- Were to get the goods and so on

Thank you all really. But, i think that this post is not clear and perhaps Omega Owners admin should think about it and gatter some good information that could be really useful about exhaust system to guys like me who don't understand much about it...

Polish ones off ebay are good quality and are not noisy.  Fitted one to our old Elite Estate - arrived quickly, well packaged, and was a good fit

The genuine ones are not made to the quality they were a few years ago, now very similar to the ones off ebay, just a lot more expensive.  I have just fitted one from ETS, cost £94 delivered and I am happy with the quality, it is very quiet.  There is a company sellin gthem for a bit more, who package them much better, I would probably use those next time as my first one was damaged in the post, but replaced with no quibble at all.

quite a few members,including me have fitted a system from ETS,and have found they fit, come with a fitting kit,and are as good if not better than O.E. and mustn't forget, CHEAP , so i don't think we need a group test,or a poll or any other form of product review.

I think maybe that the OP's problem isn't the actual exhaust but finding a supplier that will ship at a reasonable price to Portugal.
