Easier to post, pics?

is it poss. to post pics without involving a 3rd party site? Would be so nice to drag and drop your pic into  your post.  
 But i have no idea whats involved with this, alot more data/bigger server i guess? Not an IT person.

AFAIK...

The size is the least of the matter, all the bandwidth would be coming from the one, currently privately hosted server, which would make the site unusable unfortunately.
All the site graphics are held on off site paid storage for this reason.
(and is also the least reliable bit of the setup)

Most Internet providers allow you webspace to host your pics/whatever  on (as I do with Virgin media ,previously NTL) Totally free check it out its a piece O' P to do it on your own space !!then link to Forum ! :y

As Jimbob pointed out, hosting images on the main OOF server whould result in a slow forum due to bandwidth.

We have another server on a fast, high bandwidth connection, but that would not allow for the ease your require, in fact being no different to hosting on your own webspace.
