Even though it's for the best it's never easy seeing a loved one all wired and tubed up.Glad they're getting her sorted out and both Maureen and I hoping for a full and speedy recovery for her from here on in.

Today’s update; not a lot new at the moment, she is still on ICU and will be for a while. A little more alert, but is only a little, and tearful at times.......

Someone died as I arrived at the ICU so a delay in getting in, a bit later they came to collect the body in a metal box, put up screens around us all so we couldn’t see, Carole said she was only 32. Makes you think!!!!!..................

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery Mike. Don't worry so much about the tearful bit. Don't know if it's the anisthetics and other drugs they pump into you but feelings, thoughts, dreams and general moods seem to go haywire when you are on high dependancy/intensive care. Our best wishes to you both. John Carol & family.

Some good news..........   swmbo has been moved out of the ICU and onto the HDU,  where she should have moved to on Friday. Chest drains out, just one line in and oxygen now.
She is likely to be on the HDU for about another 24 hrs while they wean her off some medication, she will then move onto ward 32 proper. She is a little brighter and, as she say’s ‘plodding on’ ..............

She may then see visitors, she has only allowed me to see her so far, to which I agree, no child, of any age, really needs to see their mother tubed and wired up, she was away with the fairies any way.........
