Impoverished is how I would describe myself.

Wash it as Kevin suggests, tie to the bumper & have a drive around your estate .... that should dry it out OK

My late grandfather told me that's what they used to do with the old style 'rubber johnnies'....... wash it under the tap..

Our ancient Dyson DC01 has been running without filters for years and seem fine.

It is a noisy little bastard though, especially after 'Dysoning up' a load of concrete bits and dust. 

Over a period of time....the condenser with fill up with crap that the filter ermmmm filters out.....then your stuffed
