These are poxy small speakers, phoney crap :o

After something to lift them about 18-24"...

Are they the oval type (two small speakers per unit) that has two screws on the rear off them for bracket mounting?
I single threaded hole in rear of speaker

The fony speaker stands i have (somewhere) for my surround sound (came with four, i only used two of them) are not going to fit then....

wall mounting is easier. I remember back in the day forking out silly money on stands and lead shot to fill them :'(
they were cheapish, only cost £100 in 1980 something l ;D ;D ;D
