Kieren,

None of our models fire anything as we go along to a lot of public events but yes the 1/4 scale King Tiger (and others) are fully mobile. Found this on YouTube.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nvrCNd68M-Q

There are others on their with the model complete, painted and with sounds to give you the idea!

Humpy

PS Here's a video of us unloading at the War and Peace Show at Beltring, near Maidstone a couple of years ago with our camouflaged Mazda van :y It goes on to show you a display we do for the public. I'm in there but the vids not overly clear!

Bought our first one y accident rather than desire, never been into Vauxhall’s though had a couple as company cars in a previous life.

Early 2000 and we wanted a big estate car, originally to convert to 7 seat, there was a kit available.

Didn’t want a Volvo, Just happened to see one in Auto Trader so went to se it, to be honest I was not sure what they even looked like. :-[

Anyway, I will always remember the deal though not the price now.
There it was sitting on the drive, 1995 2.0l select, estate, in Black, I know based model but still nice at the time. Looked nice, also on the drive was a new Volvo Estate, always a good sign that he needed to get rid of it cos he has already replaced it. Went for a drive, I knew I wanted it before we got to the end of the road, anyway chatting away seems that no one had come to see it yet, been up for sale a while. NOW he said to me that the problem is no one wants big cars anymore, petrol, parking etc. Ofcourse I agreed, said car was a bit bigger than I wanted, I can lie sometimes, anyway long story short the perfect deal, he was offering reduced price before I had even started.  :y

I ran the car till 2002 when I had to pass it on to swmbo, following major surgery found that the car was too heavy for me on a regular basis, even opening the door, it is such a solid car.

Swmbo is 4 feet nowt and a bit and was worried about such a big car, she soon learned and had less problem parking it than I did. ::) ::)

We kept the car till last year when we got another one.

i have owned Vauxhalls for at least the last 15 years, i worked for a dealers and so knew the product well.

I had a Zafira before my first Omega, doing 30,000 miles a year in a MPV is not ideal whereas the omega fitted the bill perfectly, i sold the zafira and bought a newer Omega Elite for 1K less than i got for the Zafira.

Never really looked back, total reliability and comfort by the bucketload, so when it was time to sell that one there was only one thing that could replace it.....another Omega....however the one that i bought needed a lot of work doing on it.....

We are still getting used to the new one, if it does the south of france and back with no issues then my trust in it will grow.

I used to have a Granada Scorpio 2.9 as company car and really enjoined the smooth V6 and RWD.

However I thought that it would be out of my price range to buy one privately, so went to look for a nice 1.8L or 2.0L Vectra. I had an Opel Kadett (MkI Astra) for 5 Years in the past and really liked the Opel/Vx built-quality.

Then I went to this huge car supermarket (back in 1998) and was surprised at how cheap were nearly new Omegas - I did not even consider it beforehand.

It was a no-brainer, and I bought a silver 97 R-Reg Omega, 10 months old and with only 20k miles under the belt (Motorway miles, judging from the nearly-new brake discs). It has a super-refined 2.5 V6 engine, and I really really liked it.

Had the car for next 3 years, and in 2001 went back to the same car supermarket... came back with a black 2001 Y-Reg 2.6 CDX, only 4 months old and with just 6,400 miles. I ran for the next seven years because I had nothing to replace it with. I finally sold last month or reasons which I explained elsewhere in this forum. It is very sad they don't make them any more....

thought i would try a vaux.after having ford, rovers all estate versions.

The miggy just kinda sang to me as i test drove it.engine has a nice little whistle to it on low revs and slowly disappears as revs go higher comes back on low revs again.Call it the vauxhall whistle
And it is roomy enough for ice hockey kit (goal minders)and field hockey kit.Not mine me daughters :D

My veccy was off the road with a number of things which I didnt have the time to sort out so I was looking for a cheap jag that worked but needed some TLC long term.... then a taxi driver friend offered me the omega at a snip.  Test drove it over the weekend and I never had any Jag cravings again.... (until the XF came out)  ;D ;D

Edit: and I was sick of the understeer of the veccy! bleurgh!  :-X

Always had a soft spot for vx. Always had more of a soft spot for rwd, had an even greater soft spot for lage exec cars. Have always loved the miggy... it is a charmer alright which leaves you looking either in aw or inspired.

To me it is only of the most beautiful of cars. To drive it is fun, comfortable, and whole heartedly enjoyable.

Im afraid the wife has known for sometime now that there will always be other women in my life.  :-* :-* :-*

Wanted big, comfortable, reliable and 2nd hand VFM when buying. Ownership great until GB introduced backdated car tax rises >:( At £480 a year to tax in a couple of years it looks like it's time to say bye bye :'(, though that will be challenge in itself as potential buyers will be thinking the same :(

It's so much easier to pleasure a lady in the rear of an omega than it is a smaller corsa...

...I mean seriously, how much more room for shopping bags is there to keep her happy!!
