To remove the large  door window from the rear door ,does the window regulator have to be removed and if so how is it attached to the door and is it an easy job to do..ta much  :-\

As per Haynes :y you'll need a drill, rivets and a rivet gun...

If you don't have access to a rivet gun you can use nuts and bolts. I used counter sunk bolts and loctite, meant to replace them with rivets when got the chance.
5 years later, still to swap them

Yep, nuts and bolts on refitting  :y

Don't go too crazy drilling the rivets out. When I did this at school for the first time I pretty much destroyed the tang that the upper rivet was attached to. Don't do that  ;D

Any idea what diameter rivets or bolts required...nice to have all at hand to do the job in one go.. :y
