Same has above really also check who does the work as most warranty companies have their labour rate.....I had to claim on the warranty on my Vectra that was thrown in for a year BUT the warranty company wanted to use Halfords for the repair so I refused used my own garage paid them and had to claim it back....the hoops I had to jump through were getting stupid in the end they did pay. Another problem you may find is your own garage may not want to deal with warranty company direct as they don't pay garages quick enough
And I agree there is not a 'GOOD' warranty company out there
I've just read a story on another forum. Power steering gone on a cruze, so the ford dealer who sold it made him go to Halfords. New pump, same symptoms, monkees at Halforde stumped. Ffs, it's not rocket science, and it's going to end up costing the dealer far more than using a competent mechanic.
Meanwhile, of course, the car is off the road. Grrrrrr
