Partial eclipse are rarely very exciting. Even with 95% coverage.

However, a full eclipse in a cloudless sky is amazing......so I'm told. :y

Cracking view in Chester, used 3 polarising filters, superb clarity.
Went fairly cold and upset the bird song

8.30am in Liverpool the cloud started to thin,so I thought all was good, but by the time the eclipse happened it was overcast b*gger! .All the birds stopped singing though  :(
