Birthday Girl What Would You Buy?
« on: 03 July 2008, 19:18:04 »

All this talk of spending on credit cards earlier today, has made me realise it's Mrs Optimist 44th Birthday next week.

Now I'm already on a warning of a possible beating, as I completely forgot out anniversary in October, so there is no room for error this time.

I've already asked my beautiful wife what she would like, but my efforts seem to get nothing more than a withering look. (Exactly what is wrong with a new Dyson, washing machine or Makita drill from Screwfix, which I could use on very rare occassions?)

Seriously though, I'm willing to spend £250 on the birthday girl, so can members of the Forum tell me what they would buy their wives (or Mistresses). And could the female members tell me what they would like to be bought by their husbands (or lovers)

Any quirky or original ideas would be greatly appreciated

Don't let me down I'm desperate :-? :-? :-?

For my wife's birthday a couple of weeks ago, i bought a 60GB PS3, some games, a new mountain bike, and promised her a 3G iPhone the moment they hit these shores....

came to a bit over the stated budget, but it meant i got now nasty looks last week when i ordered myself a new Mac book pro.

:D

I'd like to stay in a Stately Home with 4 poster bed!

A lot of ladies dream of sleeping in a 4 poster bed

£250 should just about cover a long weekend

But, I would also expect to be dined in the finest restaurant, have a new outfit, and have my hair done in a top salon.

£250 wouldn't be enough for my birthday Optimist :-* :-*:-* :-*
