Pop the orange plug, lift off, a couple or three turns of black insulation tape around the pin, refit orange tab and refit pin...

The top edge of the tape should be level with the base of the orange tab :y

Yes it's not the pin rattling, but the metal rod within it. ...in most cases. :)

Mine rattles on the drivers side but I have Irmscher door pins fitted which uses a very small allen grub screw to grip the rod... Must be somewhere inside the door its rattling on and not the rod rattling inside the door pin...

It's mostly just rods and linkages inside the door so perhaps a bit of old rubber pipe wrapped around the offending area (slit down its length, foam pipe-lagging style).. if you can find it, of course, That's the hard bit  :)

It's a bodge, but in your case, bending the metal rod so the pin leans back in the surround might take out the play, if it's that of course and your happy to do so. There is a felt surround inside the door card insert that can be taken apart and the felt re "fluffed up" so to speak.

If neither of those work it's likely inside the door.

....until the tape comes off when the glue melts on a hot day.

But yes, nice when it's quiet. Tyr re adjusting the felt in the surround. ;) (next time the door card is not off, probably not worth the agro otherwise)

Mines been taped for about four years with no issue ::)

If rattle is from direction of passengers headrest from the drivers seat then probably passenger door pins...

Would have done all four personally ::)
