Coil packs ?

Genuine or pattern "this is the question"  ::) And are the all the same connection for the fl ?

Anyone used a pattern coil pack thats been trouble free ?

Buy genuine Bosch and you'll have no issues :y

Bosch as said. Not dealer. Should be about £30 cheaper from a factor. Phone around.

I took the Offside coil pack out yesterday and noticed a slight rust colour around the top edge , is that normal seeing as its so dry in the wells  :-\ I sprayed them with some wd , thought it mite help protect them .

They do tend to rust. That is the failure mode, as the rust gets excessive, swells up and splits the plastic. Then it's own hill from there.

I wouldn't be applying anything else to them though.

Will keep an eye on them . They dont like oil on them either , damn fussy i say  ;D

Currently running on a pattern coil pack of unknown make. Mint cosmetic condition, no idea of make, it came off a breaker, and was a case of 'well let's see if this works, but I'll be buying a Bosch one most likely' - car runs fine, so we'll see how long it lasts.

But why are they different prices... There the same thing apart from the bolts dont line up and the end plugs dont fit each other.

unless you force them and forget the bolts .. then they are good to diagnose the other side with 300 codes  :y
