Fuul report of Wycombe meet
« on: 06 May 2015, 08:17:46 »

Once again we had brilliant weather and a super turnout. The pre-meet at The Papermill was an enjoyable evening, with MatMV6, Terbert and Christine, Nitro and Carole, Essex Big Al and Sally. As usual...last ones to be 'invited' to leave !!!!
After the trauma of the day before when I had run in's with the football festival taking place at the adjoining school, over the fact that they had no authority to use our car park, I was up at the car park taping it up to stop them using it, at 5am Monday morning!!. However, word of our displeasure reached the organisers, and to be honest, they co.operated brilliantly, ensuring all football traffic parked in the school field. It was a laugh though, when their parking stewards and programme sellers, all virtually stood to attention when Josh arrived in the police Omega

Many jobs were done, including...Three vehicles fitted with rear donuts, Cruise control fitted and activated, Cam covers diagnosed, and new fitted, two Power Sounders removed, new dash dials fitted, and also a few other jobs I have forgotten about.

It was good to see some new faces at our meet, Terry Paget, who travelled up from Somerset, Bigtime, who came down from Leicester, And local lad Tec2tec. Also, nice to see Mr and Mrs Lazydocker, baby and doggy, coming all the way from Suffolk. And Joff coming up from Swindon.

And a great thanks to all the usual attendee's...TB, Taxi AL, Nitro, YZ250, VXL V6, Nick W, Unlucky Alf, Essex Big Al, Delroy47, Chris Gixer, LF64, MatMV6, Joshwyatt, and of course...me!!!
Some of these guys travelled a fair distance too. My thanks to you all.

I have to say, Unlucky Alf's M reg diesel seems to look better every year...a credit to you Tim, especially sporting its new large 'hole' at the rear ;D

One downside was after doing about an hour and a half's videoing and picture taking, I realised I still had the lens cap on
However...I had got some pics on the phone, and took some more with the camera later

A massive thanks to Chris assisted by Carole for putting on all the grub. No one saved me any bacon though. It was a pleasure to see TB walking round the car park with his large carrot Chris got for him. And thanks Sue for the other trimmings :y
