Autovaux are still chasing the pkg with Royal Mail.  It's now too late for me to fix it today.  Looks like it may be Saturday, one week after it broke, before I can get it fixed.  >:(  It only took 10 minutes to figure out what was broken, one week to get the part that everyone here says is the most common failure on these cars??????  I need beer.  (No wonder the beer here is so good, you need it after the service you get here  ::) :P )

This isn't all Autovaux's fault, but they seem very busy so they haven't been chasing up as well as they promised.  I wouldn't say avoid them, but don't feel that you should buy from them out of loyalty to them or this forum.  They obviously have as much business as they can handle, so most people must be happy with them.

Well, the delivery helicopter just came by, but could't find a parking spot.

No, I haven't started drinking, but I need to.

Chased Autovaux again.  Say that Royal Mail was too busy to deliver it today.  Swear it will be here tomorrow and that I'll be refunded for overnight delivery.  Guess we'll see tomorrow, and if it is a line of BS.  If I was more certain of which part I needed I would try to get it somewhere else and send the whole thing back to Autovaux.

Pain in my @$$!  >:(

Royal Mail just pulled up across the street, and then drove off without ever getting out.  >:(

Anyone think that they'll actually get here by 10, the latest promised deadline?  ::)

Tracking results;

COME BACK LATER

Your item has reached the delivery office and is out for delivery.

We can confirm that your item left the delivery office this morning and should arrive shortly if it hasn’t been delivered already.

Come back later?  What for?!?  I'm surrounded by idiots he says to himself in a singsong voice . . .

Well, some progress finally.  Package arrived!   :o

Now I'm confused though, what is this about square plug or round plug?  Both of them have the same d@mn plug.  The part numbers are;

90492061

90540743

Help?

Mark DTM has said previously that the 061 is for the 2.5L, and the 743 should be for my car.  So now I have 2 crank sensors for a 2.5 and hopefully the right 1 of the 2 for my car?!?
