There more trouble than there worth in my honest option, the motors jam, the elbow levers jam or bend, the switch cover will decide at any point to pop off and launch its contents of parts inside the car, there a pita to remove and or repair, if its closed I would just leave it be and pretend its not there.

If you get somebody to press the button while you try and prise the blind up, if this works spray some silicon on the running gear.

I fitted one to my other elite i had and i found that it stuck now and again so i went into the boot and undid the shelf holding screws this allowed the blind to move around better. The edge of the blind gets stuck against the side of the shelf itself.(cardboard rubbish)

Personally love mine.

Cant say I've ever had any trouble, other than being a little sticky when I bought the car, but some silicone stray sorted that out.

As above, check with someone working on the other end, also I'd say try the switch, eliminate that, then move onto the blind itself.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the bootlid button works very well as a temporary replacement. (of course you have to ping the rubberised front off, but once you've done that the switches are basically the same as the PFLs)

But I do have rear tints  8)

They can be a right PITA though when they stop working.  :(
